Accounts and prices
Why can’t I see any prices?
Most likely one of three reasons.
- You are signed out. We are a wholesaler and our prices are agreed account by account, so the catalog is served to signed-out visitors with prices removed. Everything else — every slab, every serial, every photograph, the live stock — is open without an account.
- Your account is still pending. A new business account has to be reviewed by our team before prices appear. See the next question.
- You have a personal account. Personal accounts are approved immediately but are browse-only. If you are buying for a business, tell us and we will move you to a trade account.
How do I get my account approved?
Register with your business details, confirm your email with the six-digit code we send you, and that is everything you need to do. Your account is created straight away in a pending state — you can browse and build lists immediately.
Someone on our team then reviews it and assigns your price level. We email you the moment that happens. If you need it looked at quickly, call us on +1 (833) 836-3942 — that is faster than waiting.
How are slabs priced?
By the square foot, slab by slab. Every slab in this catalog is an individual serial-numbered piece of stone with its own measured dimensions. Its price is its own area — width × height, divided by 144 to get square feet — multiplied by your per-square-foot rate.
That is why there is no quantity box anywhere on a product page. “Two of these” means two different slabs, with two different areas and two different prices. You pick the actual serials you want.
This applies to everything, quartz included. Quartz is not sold by the piece here.
What does “from $X” on a card mean?
That the stone is priced differently in our two warehouses, and you are currently browsing both at once. The figure shown is the lower of the two rates.
Choose a warehouse at the top of the catalog and the card switches to that warehouse’s exact rate. A slab always bills at the rate of the warehouse it is physically standing in, so a cart with slabs from both warehouses is priced correctly line by line.
What is a price level?
Your wholesale tier. When you register we set it from the kind of business you told us you are — fabricator, builder, contractor, architect or designer — and our team confirms it when they approve the account. There is also a custom tier we assign by arrangement.
You will not see other tiers’ prices; the catalog is served to you with only your own.
I edited my profile and now it says “pending” again.
That is intentional. Changing the details that identify your business — company name, company type, your tax or resale ID — sends the account back for a short re-review, because those are the details your price level was based on.
Changing a shipping address, your business hours or your delivery window does not do this. You can update those freely.
The catalog: lots, bundles and AS-IS
What is a lot?
A shipment batch — the consignment the slabs arrived in. It is the part of a slab’s serial number before the dash: slab 1001697-4 belongs to lot 1001697.
A lot is not a quarry block, and it is normal for one lot to contain more than one kind of stone. If you are matching material, match on the bundle, not the lot.
What is a bundle? Do I have to buy the whole thing?
A bundle is the physical stack — sequential slabs cut from the same block, so they match each other closely in pattern and tone. On a product page slabs are grouped by lot and bundle for exactly that reason.
No, you do not have to buy the whole bundle. Every slab is sold individually at its own area and price. The tick box on a bundle heading is a convenience — it selects every available slab in that bundle at once — not a fixed package.
If your job needs slabs that match, take them from one bundle.
Why does a slab say AS-IS?
Because it is damaged, and we have marked it as such rather than quietly leaving it in the main catalog. AS-IS slabs live on their own Broken Stones page, are excluded from normal listings, and are sold at a flat price for the whole slab instead of by the square foot.
Our staff draw the damage directly onto the photograph, so you can see where it is and how bad it is before you commit.
AS-IS slabs are sold as-is: no returns, and we require you to inspect them in person before pickup. You have to tick a box confirming you understand that before an order containing one will go through.
If a slab shows “price on request”, call us — AS-IS prices are set individually and not every one is published online.
Why do two slabs of the same stone look different?
Because it is stone. Veining, tone and movement change through a block and between blocks, and no two slabs are identical.
Also worth knowing: a single photograph is often used for a whole bundle, because those slabs were cut from one block and genuinely do look alike. Where we have photographed a specific slab, its own serial is on the picture. For anything where the exact pattern matters, come and look, or ask us to photograph the specific serial.
A slab I wanted has disappeared.
Someone reserved it. Slabs are held the instant an order is placed and the instant a manager confirms a hold for a visitor, and a reserved slab drops out of the catalog rather than staying visible and unbuyable.
Stock here is genuinely one-of-one, so it moves. If the whole product has gone out of stock, use Notify me when available on the product and we will email you when it is back.
Can you tell me when something is back in stock?
Yes. Sign in, open the product and choose Notify me when available. You can watch a specific warehouse or both.
It is a single email: we write to you when the stone arrives and the alert closes itself. You are not signed up to anything ongoing, and you can cancel any alert from your profile.
Ordering and delivery
How does delivery work, and what does it cost?
Each customer has a home warehouse — the one that serves your state. Delivery from your home warehouse is free, and you choose a date from our delivery calendar at checkout.
If you order slabs that are standing in the other warehouse, they have to be trucked across the country, and that is charged. You get two options:
- Express — a flat fee for the whole order, however many slabs are travelling, on a short fixed lead time. One truck, one price.
- Standard — a smaller fee charged per travelling slab, on a longer lead time with no committed date.
Only the slabs that actually travel are charged. If your order mixes local and distant slabs, the local ones ride along free. The exact amount is calculated and shown to you at checkout before you confirm, and whatever you were quoted is what is recorded on the order.
How is my home warehouse decided?
From the state on your address, using a map our team maintains. If your state is not on it, we do not guess — no fee is applied and one of our people works out the right answer with you.
We can also set your home warehouse by hand if the default is wrong for how you actually work. Ask us.
Which days can I take a delivery?
Weekdays, by default, with a short lead time — and ordering late in the day pushes the earliest date out by one. Each warehouse keeps its own calendar and can block specific dates, so the checkout calendar shows you what is genuinely available rather than letting you pick a day we cannot ship.
You can also record in your profile which weekdays you can receive a truck, and the calendar will respect it.
How long are my slabs held once I check out?
They are reserved the moment you place the order — first checkout wins — and held for a few days while we confirm it. If two people go for the same slab at the same time, the second one is told immediately which slabs were taken, with the rest of the cart left intact.
If a hold lapses before the order is confirmed, the slabs go back into the catalog.
Can I order AS-IS slabs online?
Yes, if a price is published for them and your account is approved. You have to accept the no-returns terms first, and you are expected to inspect the slab in person before pickup.
If an AS-IS slab shows no price, it needs a conversation. Call us.
Visiting a warehouse
Do I have to sign anything to visit?
Yes. Everyone entering a warehouse signs in and accepts a release of liability — it is a working warehouse with overhead lifting and stone on A-frames. You can do it on your own phone before you arrive, or on the tablet at the door. It takes a couple of minutes and does not need an account.
You sign by drawing your signature on the screen. We keep that signature, along with your name, contact details and the version of the waiver you agreed to — our privacy policy sets out exactly what is kept and for how long.
Anyone coming with you signs too, and a minor can be signed in by the adult accompanying them.
Can you hold slabs for me?
Yes. During the visit sign-in you can list the slabs you want set aside, by barcode or serial, and we will check them against live inventory as you type. A manager reviews the request.
Confirmed holds last five days and then release automatically, so nothing sits blocked indefinitely.
Lists, the assistant and the app
How do I share a list with a client?
Open the list and share it either as a read-only link you can paste anywhere, or by email straight from the app. Your client does not need an account to open it — they see the stones, not your prices.
If they do happen to have an account, the list also appears under their Shared with me. And lists you build before signing in are moved onto your account when you sign in, so nothing is lost.
Is the assistant a person?
No — it is an AI assistant, powered by Google Gemini. It can search the catalog, add slabs to your cart, filter by what you describe, and answer questions about your own orders when you are signed in.
If you would rather talk to a human, ask it and it will hand the conversation to our team.
Because your question goes to Google to be answered, and because when you are signed in your account details and recent orders go with it, we would rather you knew than not: the detail is in the privacy policy.
Does the app work without a signal?
Yes, if you download the catalog first — Account → Data & Storage. That saves the whole catalog and a preview of every photograph to the phone, which is the difference between a warehouse aisle being usable and not.
Saved prices are hidden once they are more than 24 hours old, so you are never quoting from a stale number, and the saved copy is deleted when you sign out.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Account → Delete account. Or just ask us. You will need your password.
The account is disabled immediately and you have seven days to change your mind using the link in the confirmation email. After that everything personal is erased permanently.
Completed orders and any liability waiver you signed are kept — they are tax and legal records. Section 11 of the privacy policy says exactly what is erased and what is not.
Still stuck?
Call us and talk to a person. We are happy to walk through inventory with you.
